After years of working in different music schools in Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire and North Lanarkshire, I set up my own home studio in Inchinnan. I teach students of all ages and levels, for fun and fulfilment, or towards academic achievement.
I have a BA Hons degree in Commercial Music from the University of Paisley. I am a Member of the Independent Society of Musicians and an Associate of the Royal Schools of Music.
My teaching style focuses on enjoying music and learning to play a wide variety of styles. I encourage reading music notation and for those who like a challenge, I have helped many students through music exams both in school and privately, with ABRSM and Trinity College London.
I teach all ages and levels from complete beginners to advanced musicians. No matter your level of skill or experience, I aim to make each lesson enjoyable and enlightening. Contact me to find out about availability.
Lessons are weekly and last 30 minutes. There are 43 lessons annually, with payments balanced over 12 months so that the fees are the same every month. Payment is by bank transfer and due at the start of each month.
The current monthly fee is £52.
I also have limited availability for lessons on a pay as you go basis. These require no monthly commitment. Ideal for those looking for an occasional lesson or who work shift patterns, they can also be useful for those preparing for a specific exam.
A 30 minute pay as you go lesson is £18.
